"The Gadfly" is a culture critique magazine affiliated with the West Valley Philosophy Club. Written in an accessible yet scholarly style, "The Gadfly" is half journal and half academic treatise meant to appeal to persons with only minimal knowledge of Academic Philosophy. This magazine was highly regarded during the time of its last publication, and has been recently revived by a group of dedicated individuals. "The Gadfly" Magazine is emblematic of the pioneering spirit of the West Valley Philosophy Club to share the insights that Philosophy can provide about the world across disciplinary boundaries.
For the latest issue (Spring '19) the club would like to thank Barbara Upton of the WVC Philosophy Department ,Emi Ibarra for editing and suggestions, and Marina Menendez-Pidal and Dave Zoland for their combined effort on graphic presentation.
